I need advice on dating a workaholic?

We dated for 7 months prior to breaking up for a month due to his work and how he felt overwhelmed with it and myself. We always made it work for those 7 months, despite how tough it was to see eachother. He came back to me after a month and realized he wanted me in his life and that he made a mistake, and obviously willing to make it work with me despite how much he travels for work. I hope it will work the second time around, but for the past two days, we have tried unsuccessfully to get together, due to his work changing at the last minute. How can I not be dissapointed? When I am with him, I feel like a princess, and I really don’t want to give him up. We are so compatible on so many levels. I do work full time and go to school and have activities to keep myself busy. I’m glad that he realized that he wants me in his life, but I just don’t want to get hurt again. Do you have any advice? Are you a workaholic or dating a workaholic?
Pearl: Obviously I know I am NOT a princess…I am simply expressing how wonderful he makes me feel. Why are people so judgemental nowadays?

busy people have busy lives - either they are worth the effort or not - you just have to decide.
