I have known this guy for 5 years, we dated on and off for about 1 of these years, but it was very casual. He travels for work a lot and can’t commit to anything. We make plans and then he cancels because of work. Why does he keep contacting me if he still doesn’t have time for me? This has been going on for years and just when I think I am over him, he texts or calls. He hasn’t dated anybody else either. Grrrrrrrrrrrr!

    he hasn’t dated anyone that you know of. sounds to me he’s full of excuses and uses work to his advantage with you. ever consider he has put you on the back burner and your second choice or worse 13th or more. confront him talking is good let him knoe hoe you feel
