Is a workaholic husband a pain for the wife?
Saturday, June 6th, 2009Seeker asked:
How does a wife feel if her husband is workaholic in nature? Let us be more specific and consider a husband who is not totally negligent of the wife and his family but confesses that due to huge workload is unable to provide enough time for the family. He is not generally able to watch a movie with his wife or go shopping together. How does the wife feel in such a case? Is it too painful for the wife? Would the wife seek divorce? Will she try to reform her husband? Would she feel that marrying that particular person was a blunder? Or will she accept it? Suppose the husband is not just interested in earning more and more money but is engaged in some social work. (For some people social work is a source of joy, more than anything else. But is that a justification for the pain his wife suffers?) What do you guess the wife feels in such a case?
