I’m a Filipina and my current boyfriend is a Japanese that is too workaholic. We’re both here in the Philippines now but we’re not living together. Work is his priority that I really understand. But somehow, he can’t even contact me for a day. That makes me feel bad. Filipinos can’t live without a contact from their bf/gf for a day, a short phone call, an email or a text message. Culture differences really matter. He can’t understand my point, so I am with his. I can’t take it any longer……..

I know it is a little early to start worrying about this since I am just 24 weeks along. But I am so worried that when I go in for my scheduled c-section that he will be on his I-Phone all the time working. I mean while I am in the hospital, I want it just to be about me and our new baby. I will need him a lot since the recovery from a c-section can be rough (I had one in 06) So for those of you with workaholic husband’s how did you handle being in the hospital and the next few days/weeks? I think he going to take off work for two weeks after my c-section to help me with the baby and our toddler. But if he is working all the time at home, I worry how much help he will be.
