Do you prefer working for a male or female boss?

I have worked for both men and women over my 25 year “career.” During that time, I was always happiest when my boss was a woman. Women seem to be more sympathetic, better listeners, more receptive to new ideas and suggestions and to give more encouragement. Let’s face it, we men are ****holes. We’re all so darned competitive, it’s hard to really have a good male boss. Mine have all been overbearing, workaholic jerks who look at employees like bugs they found in their salad. What’s your experience?

A cashier attending to guest in a queue forgets his time for meal break because this cashier simply have fun with the quest and also a workaholic. Should not the supervisor watch the meal breaks of his subordinates.

My friend has been working for the company for 5 years (in a remote location) moving every few months and traveling from site to site every 4-6 weeks for a few days. He is totally stressed out and his health has been affected more in the last year. I suggested he take a break but he’s a workaholic. He’s a hard working employee he can come back to the company with out any problem. Should I just leave him be and let him figure it for himself? Any suggestions…
P.S He is very stubborn! :)

I dont think I am in love with my husband anymore and have felt that way for several yrs. But I thought it was best for the children to stay together. He is not abusive and a great financial provider. But emotionally and physically he is a stranger to us. I am afraid that once the children are gone there will be no reason to stay, and then I will be old and have wasted my youth on him. Should I stay?

Also - he is a career military man with 17 yrs in and I only have 3 yrs left till he is vested. But I have emotionally checked out already.
